Jordan Werner Barry
Jordan is a graduate student in Food Studies at NYU, where her academic research centers around the historical and cultural analysis of the craft cider industry. Her extracurricular research involves drinking all the cider she can get her hands on. Originally (and very proudly) from Vermont, Jordan earned a B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Vermont, and then spent five years writing about game suppers and covered bridges as the Field Editor of Vermont Magazine. Now that she lives in the big city, she daydreams about turning every abandoned lot in Brooklyn into an urban apple orchard.
